About Me

Hi, I’m Julie—part designer, part strategist, part storyteller. I craft digital experiences that are equal parts intuitive and imaginative, blending design-thinking with marketing insight to create work that resonates, moves and connects.

My background is a bit of a mixtape: UX and product design, brand strategy, content development and digital marketing—with roots in hairdressing and international education. That early hands-on, people-facing work taught me how to read nuance, adapt quickly and design for real human needs. Teaching internationally gave me fresh cultural insights and fueled my passion for creating diverse, inclusive spaces—both IRL and online.

These days, I bring that same energy into websites, campaigns and experiences that feel alive and full of intention. I work where systems meet story—shaping ideas into strategy, interfaces into conversations and content into something that actually feels. I care about the texture of a user journey, the rhythm of a campaign and the small interactions that build trust over time.

Beyond the screen, I stay connected to grassroots work around accessibility, anti-poverty and migrant justice—and I bring those values into everything I build.

To me, UX is a modern-day Choose-Your-Own-Adventure—and I’m here to design the paths that feel just right, even when the map doesn’t yet exist.

I’m also a good stand-in for your next trivia night, but only if the topics include the trope of class politics in early zombie apocalypse films, ghost stories of Vancouverr or John Carpenter soundtracks.
